🛠 The Craft & Our Process

Are your items really handmade? Yes! Every single item in our shop is created by the two of us in our home studio. We don't use mass-production factories—just our four hands and a lot of passion.

Do you take custom orders? We love custom projects! Whether it’s a specific colour or a brand-new idea, we’d love to chat. Check our Contact Page to send us a request. Please note that custom items usually take 2-3 weeks to complete. However, if a bigger project may take a little while longer, we will give you an estimate when you contact us about your custom project idea. 

Why does my item look slightly different from the photo? That is the beauty of handmade! Because we don't use machines, there may be very slight variations in wood grain, paint strokes, or texture. Your piece is truly one-of-a-kind.

📦 Shipping & Orders

How long will it take for my order to arrive? * Ready-to-ship items: Sent out within 1-3 business days.

  • Custom orders: Usually ship within 14-21 business days.

    Once shipped, standard delivery usually takes 3–5 days.

Can I change or cancel my order? If you catch us quickly (within 12 hours), we can usually cancel or modify your order. However, once we have started on a custom piece or shipped a ready-made item, we can no longer make changes.

Do you ship internationally? Currently We only ship within the UK and Ireland, but we hope to expand to international shipping soon.

🏠 Local Inquiries

Do you offer local pickup? Yes! If you live in the Amesbury area, you can select "Local Pickup" at checkout to skip the shipping fees. We will email you to coordinate a safe pickup time.

Can I find your items in any local shops? We love connecting with our community! You can find our Satin Haircare collection in-person at The Hair Extension Cave in Salisbury.

Aside from our retail partners, we frequently pop up at local craft fairs and artisan markets throughout the year. To see which market we’ll be at next, follow us on Instagram, The Crafting Duo or Facebook, The Crafting Duo, for our latest event schedule and booth locations!

🔄 Returns & Care

How should I care for my handmade item? Each order comes with a small care card, but generally:

  • Wood items: Wipe with a damp cloth; do not soak.

  • Fabric items: Cool wash and air dry unless stated otherwise

What is your return policy? We accept returns on non-custom items within 30 days. Custom and personalised items are final sale. Check out our full Return Policy for more details.
